Will the makeover kits be part of the Halloween update?

I am SO READY for Halloween!!! Only 5 days!! All these teasers are making me even more excited!!

I think that costumes similar to the ones we had in gw1 is a good idea (being able to be put over the armor), BUT I do like the fact that you can switch to your town clothes when not in combat. I actually prefer this way of costume usage.

Although I do wish we could craft different town clothing or buy it from an NPC. I’m a little disappointed in that respect.

Will this be available to all playtimes? or do you have to play 10 hours a day not to miss? Is it instanced?
Like if I play 1-2hrs a night and miss next Thursday etc.

Are the halloween quests going to be for end game level or will lowbies be able to participate in all the events little concerned about that

But will there actually be anyone playing during these events?

My experience so far says “No.”

I know this could just be common sense or obvious statements but for thoses who wants to have fun during halloween and have different looks, the trading post has all sorts of tonics really cheap which lets you transform in different mobs for fun.

In straits of devestation after a quaggan escort event, they will sell quaggan calf transformation tonics for around a silver i think.

Also one interesting is ascalonian ghost mage potion which lets you transform into a ghost with the blue glow and all that compared to the ghostly tonic which just lets you look like a regular human warrior in some armor (probably bugged)
You can find the recipe for artificiers of ascalonian ghost potion from a karma vendor i believe but i dont exactly remember where.

If you kept all your old tonics, now would be a good time to use em considering they are compatible with costume brawl hopefully.

What I find strange is someone like Shooopa posting in these threads talking negative about the game but at the same time not moving on to go play another game you actually enjoy.

I’m looking forward to the Halloween update and like most others will check it out and enjoy what it has to offer.

Wooo can’t wait for the Halloween event! I’ve missed the Mad King all these years.

When it works it’s a fine game. That’s why I’ve played it as much as I have so far. But I’m running into activities you need a group of players to do and there’s no one there but me.

That’s a little disheartening at first and now it’s becoming irritating. I can’t make other players materialize.

If you want to catch the Halloween stuff, you’re going to want to make sure you’re here for the holiday festival! It comes in acts, so check in on a regular basis over the course of the week after the release goes live!

They are ridiculous and awesome and I want to see them return.

It would be cool if we see some PvP/WvW event like the Hunger Royale from the BWE. I remember in Hunger Royale that people changed into floating golems if they died a particular number of times (or something like that).

Replace golems with ‘zombies’ and there you go!

(How cool would be hunting down the last living player in Divinity’s Reach or another city. Or being that player lol)

I’m going to be out of town most of the week. I’ll be returning on the 30th. I see that the event is being released in acts and was wondering how that works … say like when act 2 becomes active will act 1 become completely inaccessible or will I still be able to experience act 1 and 2? Basically I’m just wondering if I will be able to make up for the stuff I miss (25th-29th) on the 30th and the 31st.

Yeah, actually it’s in the news. More karma easier to get.
New DEs & Jumping puzzles. I think the DEs are chase-the-baddy format.
New mini-dungeons, not that anyone ever does the other mini-dungeons — I have to confess I only know of one.
