I wish I could have been there with parts of the east coast , U.S.A. standing right behind me. Was a great event though. So guess i"ll have to catch it next year

I care, about both issues. I’m annoyed that we wasn’t giving the same level of customer service, on the flip side I’m glad you guys in NJ managed to pull through, some places in NJ..not so lucky

We recognize that because of power failures and the general situation, many players have been unable to meet Mad King Thorn in Lion’s Arch. One of the fake Mad King Thorn actors has decided to stick around until 11/15 to ensure that those who couldn’t play due to the storms still receive the “Attend the Party” achievement. If you missed the final event, you will be able to speak to him at the Grand Piazza in Lion’s Arch and receive both your achievement and a Halloween hat.”
I’m impressed. Responses have been a little cold lately, but I’m proud to support a company that continues to make a habit of this type of showmanship.
Some public(Free) School’s in my Province are no longer allowing kids to dress up for Halloween, because some new Canadians find it offensive.
Anet I find it offensive you did a Halloween event in your free to play game. I’m notifying you now about my complaint, and expect something to change next year so I don’t have to see it.
Honestly, although Im happy for the people that get the achievement not sure Its the greatest of decisions.
Will this be done for every event if one country in the world has a power outage caused by bad weather. Not playing down sandy it was awful but it sets a pretty big precedent.
What if half the UK is out from snowstorms. It happens quite alot over here. Will Anet cater for us too? If not that’s biased. If so, we can probably expect every event to give out free achievements :P Just considering the other side.
