If the clock tower were a solo puzzle, it would be FINE
That it would. People using the warrior banner speed boost just messes me up. That’s when I can even see my Asura among the group.

Being hurried sucks. Not fun at all, just look at all the threads about it here and on reddit.
I fully agree with this. Having 20 other people, half of them charr/norn, is just a bad design. And if they do keep it like it is, then they need to make it so you can’t use skills before the cut scene. Warriors think swiftness from banners is a good idea…when they clearly make it so you can’t use speed buffs. Even Air Signet, if equipped, doesn’t show up on the buff list. Cheers~
Also, making it solo would get rid of that INFURIATING wait time.
Nope. I’ll still see the floor half of the time, the camera zooming in and out randomly all the time.
The camera issues are still a problem.
I’m actually not affected by other players, as long as the camera stays zoomed out and where I put it, which is behind my character and above him in an angle of about 45º degrees from an imaginary horizontal line at his feet.
I know more or less here I am. Based on the surroundings. I’m in the middle, and I know where to jump since I’m seeing the obstacles ahead.
But every time the camera decides that it’ll give it a go to first person and show me the floor or a rock that it finds interesting, I end up either testing my luck and run around blindly, or spend too much time moving the camera until I can see something else other than the floor again. I have mouse sensibility set to max, and finding “that one angle” still takes ages.
Ideally the jumping puzzle should be treated as an instance. So that you can go there and be alone or take up to 4 friends with you to do it together.
I agree. I don’t mind that its timed. But timed AND having a large group of people is a recipe for a massacre…
