So we all know there are hidden ToT bags in “suspicious locations” in LA. With a simple logout and switch of overflow servers however, these ToT bags can be reharvested… Is this intentional or a bannable bug? I’m scared to loot ANY ToT bags now lol.

If you’re grabbing the bags, logging out to switch servers, and looting them again, I’m sure its an offense. Maybe not bannable, but I wouldn’t risk it.

You don’t need to switch servers, just log out and back in to be placed in a different overflow.

Or you can go out and kill things, or harvest candy corn, or buy candy corn to trade to the children, or buy TOT bags directly.

In most cases it is the intention (and how visible your intention is) that makes the difference. If you run across a suspicious location which you might or might not have looted either on your home server or on any overflow server and loot it again nobody will accuse you of using an exploit. If you repeatedly log out and back in to farm the same suspicious locations on different servers things might be seen differently though.

There are bags just sitting in LA? I haven’t seen any..

Wrong. Just tested and it IS infinite. I really hope I don’t get banned for just seeing if it was infinite or not, I just did it 4 times consecutively in about 2mins and got 16 ToT bags.

on the first day of halloween there was a door in gendarran fields that never closed and kept spitting out bags, mobs etc and nobody was banned for it, this will probably be patched up soon enough anyway

This issue has been around forever. Just not with ToT bags.

This issue was around with jumping puzzles during the first few weeks due to overflow in the newb zones. Nobody was banned from that. If you wanna play it safe, make a new char, clear tut, and check for bags on them, they respawn…

So it was an exploit, because it was just hotfixed, yay ^^ I’m happy I didn’t farm it now. I noticed alot more people there after I posted this thread though lol

You forgot “Kill Streak Experience Booster” and “Glory Boosters” both coming from Black Lion Chests, If it weren’t for leaving these out, i’d be able to craft almost double the chests i have….

From what i’m hearing from people opening them (I haven’t opened mine) is that they are having about the same luck as they did with Black Lion Chests, Mostly getting junk, rather then anything else.

is anyone able to get ToT bags from these places after the patch?

me, there are some locations that simply don’t work anymore though, such as the fountain in Old LA and the lion statues in old LA

The latest patch has removed the Personalized ToT bags from LA. It seems all save the 5 you gain from the diving board have been removed. This may be due directly to the exploit of LA overflow hopping and relogging.
