Hello everyone,

I am wondering if the mystic forge recipe for the rune is time-limited and available only during halloween or can I stock up mats and craft it after the event is gone.

Would love to see some clarification as I don’t really have enough money for a full rune set at the moment.

they said u can make the equipment/runes/food anytime you want as long as you have the items so stock as much Candy Corn as u can :P

Yes getting the recipe isnt the problem but the candys will stop dropping afterward—-and except for the 3 item intensive recipes, the rest all need halloween items to craft

The Mystic Forge recipe is just to get the recipe to make the rune, but not actually to make the rune itself. So you only need to do the Mystic forge part once I think. The runes themselves are created by either a 400 Tailor, Leatherworker, or Armorsmith supposedly.

Oh. I guess I derped out, I meant actual rune crafting (thus no mystic forge)

Do I need to have the recipe from the Mystic Forge however? I think you can stuff items in discovery tab and it will pop out anyways, won’t it?

You need the recipe to craft it.

But is the Mystic Forge recipe (to get the recipe to craft the gift items) time limited? Thats what I would like to know.

I second the above question. After all, you need 40 elonian wines for the exotic weapon recipes, so I’d probably like to save that whole thing for after Halloween.

I’m assuming any item that you obtain and any recipe you unlock will be kept and won’t expire, unless the item itself says so…

…but then again ANet has been doing really weird things. So I don’t really know what’s going to happen.

I think the recipe is available all year, the only limitation is the availability of the Halloween ingredients.
