Guild Wars 2

I assumed it would be like the first game where the ‘party’ portion of the act would only last one day, on the final day of the event.

However, I work 10 to 6 that day and I’m wondering if I could get some clarification on what time the act starts, and how long it will run until it ends. I’m hoping to still have time to do it when I get home that night, as I need it for my achievement, and I really want to see how everything wraps up, being such an avid fan of this whole event and all.

Would also like some clarification on this, as I will be working 9-5 then going to a Halloween party irl after, it will be unlikely that I will be able to attend on 31st. Will I miss out on the achievement?

It looks like it. I’ve seen in an article that the whole event ends the 1st, and it says that on the wiki (though that could be a non Anet employee change). I was thinking we had till the 3rd for some reason (I took the 1st off to be able to keep playing), but I guess not. Hopefully they give some info about tomorrow soon, because like you I have to work tomorrow (7:30Am-4Pm, on east coast). I would like to try to leave work early tomorrow if it starts early enough.

Well I work 9:30a – 10:30p on the 31st and then 6:30a – 1:00p on the 1st. Any chance a dev could give us the times? I would like to get the achievement and see how this story ends. I’ve been enjoying this Halloween event.
