Why is it that when good things come for free, we take it for granted.

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, there’s at least 90% of people who bought keys that were well aware of the skins low drop rate, and used them, and are now whining over their loss. Since the first few minutes of the halloween update, the forums were being filled with this same topic and there was plenty of mouth going around for this problem to be going unnoticed. Sure Guild Wars could have noted the low drop rate for skins, but was it really their fault for us bombing and rushing them about the late update to begin with? If you lost profit and gained nothing from the Black Lion Chest(s), it was through your own risk, and no you shouldn’t be reimbursed, nor should the items drop rate be changed. And for goodness sakes, this is only the first act (3 more on the way), and everyone thinks that this is all they have to offer, have some patience.

Plus for those who think it’s unfair for what Guild Wars did and felt like they stole your money and wish they would be brought to justice, just think about the many other companies that do the same thing. For example, the Upper Deck company that sells NHL memorabilia cards. People know that getting the star rookie Sidney Crosby card is slim to none, which I think is about 1 out of every 3 boxes (24 packs each), and 99% of those cards are usually junk, yet people will shell out $300 a box. The only difference is that they don’t have babies crying over their loss.

Good thread, bro. Maybe you should make another one so we can then create a thread complaining about the people complaining and those complaining about them complaining.

I find it funny that people are complaining about how boring the event is when its just an introduction to the first halloween in gw2

I find it funny that people think the halloween starting event with the books/ghosts is bad/stupid/hard to figure out when 90% of the people i helped today did NOT read the mail from the asura that gives u the quest.

I find it funny that people are so upset with the new pact weapon rewards because of ‘bad’ skins when its so subjective. I hate the CoF greatsword that EVERYONE seems to love but im not kittening about it. If you dont like the skin dont use it.
