Guild Wars 2

I have never in any game experienced a Holiday Event this awesome. Every 3 days you guys put in more content than I could believe. I had to stop working on my legendary to experience everything you guys had to offer. The Ascent to Madness dungeon was incredible, I got all sorts of loot that I previously thought you could only buy from the gem store (fine transmutes, black lion salvage kit, boosters, etc.) With every patch came more and more content which continued to blow my mind and I was truly impressed.

I haven’t experienced Immersion like this since Ultima Online, so for that I applaud you Arena Net..

Can’t wait for the next event already.

I loved the event. It was amazing. I just wish we had a little more time to enjoy it and finish everything.

The reason why it seems like in MMOs in general that people are always upset is that people are more motivated to post when they dislike something as opposed to liking it. There were some things I didn’t like about the event (like how the jumping puzzle was done in groups) but overall I liked the event and I hope the dev team doesn’t get discouraged and lose sight of their design philosophy for future events.

This has been an absolutely fantastic event, and I’m probably going to suffer from Halloween withdrawal symptoms for a few days.
