Keep mad king chests?
I would be surprised if they did remove it. If Anet started to just remove things from peoples inventory just beacuse the event is over it would be quite wierd.
I think the OP is asking the opinion of people on whether or not Mad King Chests will be discontinued for future Halloween events as these were mainly introduced to give gem purchases another shot at Halloween skins.
Personally, I don’t think they will at least not via Mystic Forge. I can see them introducing the Mad King Chest as a gem purchase directly instead of relying on BLC all the time. If you wish to keep it in your inventory for memories sake, then go for it. I would assume the mystic forge recipe for it will be removed either Nov 1 or Nov 5.

What? he’s clearly asking if Anet will remove them after the event is over, because he wants to keep a few as a memento just in case they don’t have them next or any other year. Some people like to collect things, you should have seen the junk bugged items I have sold to users in GW1 for A LOT of platinum.
I have played GW1 since release and they have never removed event items from peoples inventories or anything else that I can think of. Something tells me Mad King Chests were a way to stop the forum babies and give them a second chance so they may not have them again, you never know.
They did between BWE1 and BWE2, but I can’t think of another instance.
I’m more interested in when Mad King Chests will no longer be available, I know BLC will stop dropping Halloween items on Nov. 5 so will we still be able to make Mad Kings as a second chance til the 5th as well?
