Wrote a handy guide with a map you might find useful – it was pretty confusing for me too the first couple rounds

@dulfy
I believe there’s an alarm missing, on the east. I can see how you missed it though, there is no reason to go there as I don’t remember any items spawning there.
Each of them will give you:
1st time: table that grants swiftness (maybe heals too?)
2nd time: patrol of some monsters to help you
3rd time: veteran monster to help you
@Qelris.6901, thank you, I added that one in
Agree with the OP – Fun Game but I had to do it quite a few times before I had any clue what was going on. I would guess that it has been the least popular of the activities because many players were totally confused and gave up.
I spent the whole of the first game wandering around looking for the villagers, it wasn’t until midway through game 2 that I realised, I was a villager!
Really? Huh. I figured this one out on my first try. It’s my favorite part of the event so far. Needing to remember which supply goes where is part of the puzzle. (Reaper’s Rumble, on the other hand, has me seriously confused.)
It’ll still take a while to pick up on little tricks and what not, like:
-memorizing all the hiding places.
-memorizing where villagers spawn after jumping off the edge (you plant traps there, and then chase/fear them off a cliff.)
-how the 6,7,8,9,0 skills function, ect.
The only two stats that appear to have any effect are Vitality and Power. So going to the Mists and choosing either a Soldier or Knight amulet appears to be the way to go depending on your play style. (2300 more HP -vs- hitting villagers 417 harder with #1.)
Heck, armor doesn’t appear to have any significance either, I was hitting light/medium/heavy armor wearers for set figures of; 2285; 2536; 2756, and I was getting hit for the exact same value regardless of what I was wearing (So now I just run around naked instead of having to wear the ugly brown armor.) xD

Just goes to show what a difficult job Anet has sometimes – I sussed this immediately – Collect Pumpkins, make skeletons, attack the other side and destroy their 3 buildings.
