Guild Wars 2

I am unsure if this is the correct forum for this, as it is related to the Halloween event, but also a suggestion.

Simply put, Is the Mad Memories ( either edition) ever going to be Account Bound, Instead of Soul Bound?

Reason being is I am currently an altaholic and though I do have the Emissary of the Mad King title, this book is just pure awesome, both for leveling and looks. Not to mention I managed to get the darned thing at level 11 and doubt I’d be able to get it again before the event ends. I’ve done runs to get the thing about 6 times in the duration of the event and while somewhat fun, they were all very difficult, and soon to be impossible to do for another year at least.

Anyone else feel this way, or am I alone in my odd, some might say mad, love of this book?

I got it on my lvl 2. i had a group of guildies help me and well, we all have it. Would have probably help u if you were in a small tight guild as the 1 im in now. None of the other big guilds i was in helped me at all and i felt like i was just a number there. Anyways, i agree.

Making this acct bound would be frikken awesome due to the aesthetics. ANY caster w/o 1 would just simple be blanch.

I didn’t even look—always assumed it was account bound since it was essentially an achievement award.

Maybe if they level-restrict it or scale the stats based on level they’ll change it to account bound.

So far people seem to agree (A whole 3 of 3!) that this is a good idea. And i’ll be honest, I don’t think the stats need to change at all. There’s is already a limit of how much you benefit per stat by level in the game already. But it is silly that this book isn’t acct bound, even though the title earned by the event is.
Besides, think of all the happy people who couldn’t manage get a weapon skin before the event ended, that’ll have one to keep (I’m looking at you 106 BLCs’ an 6 MK chests)

I wouldn’t mind getting it account bound. Obviously my 80 has no use for it. Same goes for the 10 slot bag and the slippers. I would like to hang onto them but of course they take up space in my bank instead. If my alts could use it, it would be very nice.

I would really love to have it on my lowbies who can’t run it because of the level of the zones. Please?

I’d like it to be account bound as well, I will never wear this on my thief, it just doesn’t fit the look I’m going for. However, if I should one day make an elementalist, I’d love to be able to transmute it.

I got lucky enough to have guildies haul my pathetic main (level 21) through to get both books, but I don’t want to ask them to haul my level 8 alt that I just started through it again. I would adore for it to be account bound.

I’d like this as well, even though I did make the books on the characters I wanted (necromancer, elementalist). It was difficult running in the high level zones but I got lucky and found groups of players to help (all my characters are 20-25). It’s certainly possible to do the runs on lowbies, but it’s a lot harder not just because of the enemies’ levels, but also because you have to walk all the way to the closest waypoints since you’ll more than likely not have them open. So it’d be cool to be able to use the books on alts that couldn’t make it.
