So apparently only gems without level requirements work with this book. However it has the stats of a level 80 masterwork back item. Would it be possible to slot this with a level 80 gem please? It’s not a lot of stats lost, but I don’t necessarily want to transmute it and lose the flavor text, either.

Honestly, I’m surprised it wouldn’t come with a special gem in it already.

u can just trasmute it with a better one, is not that difficult like the one that u get after u finish ur story line i think

Yeah, by default it’s equal to the base stats of my level 80 story backpack, but if I can’t slot gems into it then it will always be lacking a good junk of stats in comparison.

Perhaps Act 3 will provide that gem.

Hmmm, is it possible to transmute the skin of the book onto your storyline ‘backpack’ (or a Guild backpack)? That should solve your gem issues if you just want it for the skin I think
