You need 1 Candy Corn, 6 Mystery Tonics, 1 Boost (any), 1 Boost (any) to get a Mad King Chest.

The KillStreak Experience Booster doesn’t work in the Recipe at the Mystic Forge, it doesn’t even show up on the possible material list…

I don’t know about anyone else, but I have nearly 100 of these from Black Lion chests and I am not able to use this in the Recipee for the Mad King Chest.

So my question to ArenaNet is… Was this just an oversight or intentional?
If it was an oversight, will there be a quick fix to this?

All my boosts worked for me. Perhaps try logging out? Also, I’ve heard some people can’t use two of the same boosts so that may be the problem.

No, it’s pretty much confirmed that killstreak and PVP Glory boosters don’t work for some reason.

Of all the boosters I do have the killstreak is the only one that doesn’t work.

KillStreak Experience Boost does not work for me…
PvP Glory Booster does not work for me either, however that one I understand since its not from a black lion chest.

Killstreak was the only one that didn’t work for me (I didn’t have any glory). It was also the only rare quality booster. All the others were greens. Coincidence?

Please tell me yall are joking? The killstreak boosters imo are absolutely worthless. I had planned on using them for this since I have like 100 of them. Your saying they don’t work? /facepalm

Hence the reason for the post…

Too many Killstreak Boosters!

Also, only one of the three types of craftable mystery tonics work. While I can understand the thought behind only using the type that comes out of BLC, I think a limitation like this should be clearly stated when Anet makes a post telling players what the recipe is.

how can people say they were saving boosters for “this” when “this” wasn’t never suppose to happen? Yeah it sucks but don’t lie. Either ANet decide not to include as they were plentiful or just messed up the patch.
