Since Halloween materials are limited in the duration we can obtain them, but it seems there are other more standard rarer materials used in recipes that are not will we be able to craft items at the Mystic Forge once the even has ended?

For example: Currently we can combine the3 Miniature Spooky Trio with 250 Candy Corn (All limited to the Halloween event itself) to create a fourth rare Halloween mini-pet. Would we be able to do this AFTER the Halloween event ends is we still had the base materials of the 3 spooky pets and 250 candy corn, or is there some special property to the Mad King’s Mystic Forge?

To further clarify and to a more difficult gathering extent, the weapons that seem pseudo-legendary and seem to be formed using the forge. Could you gather the Halloween specific materials and then say even make the Halloween specific gift like Gift of the Moon after the event following with the more standard rarer materials to form the complete weapon or is this entire process limited to the duration of the event?
