Q:
Please find a way to keep Lunatic Inquisition in the game.
And since I formatted this as a question on accident:
How about rotating out the minigames per week? Unskin them, feature different ones each week, and then add as many as wanted during holiday events?
And since we’re looking at old WC3 style custom maps for ideas, if you find a way to do Island Defense you could have all my gaming funds for the next year. Promise.
Alright joking aside I agree, I want to keep my Dota-style reapers brawl I love it, so very very much.

I would love to still be able to do the Luncatics Inquistion even after the event.
I would love to see both new PvP games stick around (though it would be nice to see Reaper’s Rumble fleshed out a bit more). They are both really fun!
Reapers brawl was awesome.

I too would really enjoy this type of PVP in this game, in fact so far this was the only thing the game was missing for me. Great idea
Didn’t really care for Reaper’s Brawl however Lunatic Inquisition was some of the most fun I have had in awhile. I’d love for this to be a regular mode of play. Maybe reward with karma and a chance of a uniquely skinned piece of Lunatic gear.
Even without rewards I could play all day!
The reaper’s brawl was all right, but the inquisition was the most fun I’ve ever had in PvP before. I like it more than WvW because of how tense it feels when you are alive at the very end with an army of ghosts chasing you; it’s like a hardcore version of packman! But in all seriousness, PLEASE just leave this in the game ANET!
+1, please keep it! it’s epic fun! it’s ok even if you change the skins to adapt the game whatever (I understand that you cannot keep an Halloween related thing run whole year…xD )
It’ll be cool if there was a weekly minigame, and to get in, you’ll need tickets, like the tournament tickets.
You could get tickets by things like playing the minigames themselves, with glory, randomly from PvP chests and, and directly with gems.
Why tickets? Because that way activities during festivals are kept special, since those would be free.
It would also great if you could choose these game modes in the arenas you rent.
Yes! Keep both games.
Halloween was excellent, plz dont waste all that dev time and talent! Keep the mini games!
And.. on a personal note, plz release the Hunger Games event! I wasnt in Beta but that game looked great

Really like that idea. Either way, both game modes are definitely keepers and need to be expanded upon!

Eh Hunger Games kinda sucked. All I did was play Man Vs Wild in the mountains till he server went down, survived.

agree agree agreeeee
i would love it if the Inquisition mini-game could stay in somehow.
Agreed! I love Lunatic Inquisition. I’m a bit nervous about PvP (I haven’t actually tried it yet for real) but have had a really good time testing the waters with this no-pressure minigame.
Not a huge fan of Reaper’s Rumble, but I loved the Lunatic Inquisition! Loads of fun. Ah, there is nothing like being chased, running around a corner, turning invisible and watching them run past you. I’d love to see it stick around or be available form time to time at least.
Would have to loose the theme though, and it would make it less special at halloween next year… just my opinion.
I am pretty sure we will get similar style mini games for other events, so wouldn’t worry about not being able to play these.
This is kinda like the kids that love Christmas so much that they want it to be Christmas all year :P
I am not saying I am 100% against it… just… we can’t have Christmas (or Halloween) all year.
Looove Lunatic Inquisition
I love Lunatic Inquisition and will miss it when the event ends.
Seconded, or fifteenth, whatever number this is.
Both of these are extremely fun.
Would definitely like to see them being made a permanent fixture.

Rocking Wizard Wars until this mess of a game is fixed…
Both of the pvp maps are awesome. Wish they’d keep them and just expand upon it/make full non halloween style versions. Spvp gets boring after a while, especially when I was never a fan of Jade Quarry in GW1. ( Fort Aspenwood <3 ) Need some new pvp instances.
I was also since beginning of GW2 wanting them to make a Dota style pvp arena and they basically did with Rumble.
I love the other one. It’s simple and fast. While I want them to stay, I can understand the need for them to go. That way, there is a proper end to these things, and the goodbye will be rather bittersweet.
Both games are really fun! Would be cool if they actually added them in the game after the event.
I usually hate PVP modes, this includes WvW. But I do really, really enjoy the PVP modes in the Halloween event.
I thoroughly enjoyed this game and would love it if the developers gave a nod to Nightmare before christmas and made a special instance.. a woods instance, where each door led to each holiday realm.
Please? Everyone could get the items and titles and explore and it would add more content.
Keep enough of this content around and you have more overall content which means more incentive for people to buy the game and play it. Server costs might be an issue but..
I quite like the labyrinth as well, but mainly just love the inquisition game.
the light! And if we dance, until the heart explodes,
It’ll make this place ignite!
Um, Lunatic Inquisition is actually a lore-based reenactment of Tax Day Massacre caused by the Mad King when he was still living. It CANNOT be reskinned and/ore changed in any way shape or form. To do so would be a shun to those many that died on that faithful day lacking the funds to pay the outrageous taxes imposed on them by the Mad King.
This is unlike Reaper Rumble, which is nothing more than a joyous romp with pathing minions and destruction targets. That one can be reskinned and kept in the game, the former cannot.
+1 i love this game. its a great feeling when i dodge roll out of fear then get behind a corner to go invis and they walk right past me. or juking 3 ghost that have been on your tail for the last min. its a great game please keep it. at this point im begging PLEASE KEEP THIS GAME. even with out rewards i play it for hours. and many others seem to enhoy it as well.
sincerely “the last villager”
We MUST have a Sylvari Plant Tower Defense.
Plants versus Zombies. Regular Tower Defense, etc.
As long as they improve villagers I’m all for keeping it.
I love the other one. It’s simple and fast. While I want them to stay, I can understand the need for them to go. That way, there is a proper end to these things, and the goodbye will be rather bittersweet.
You are overlooking one problem. Almost everyone I know that pvps liked those maps better than the current ones. Would be funny if RR ended up attracting more pvp than spvp.
It would be great to keep them.
Frankly: even if I would absolutely hate both of them mini-games, if I would never want to set foot in either one again… than still I would say: let’s keep them.
I’m a big advocate of variety, so please keep them as an alternative to conquest. Just as a little fun on the side for those who want.
And don’t let that stop you from introducing other pvp formats, it’s not like you could overwhelm us with options at this moment. We sort of crave for more…

that would be a very good point: making them occasional so that people look forward to them… if only there was enough pvp variety at this point already.
Since there hardly is pvp variety, I would like to keep them.
Otherwise, I would completely agree with you.
I liked it a lot too, but I think they need to refine, tweak, balance and etc. before it can be a permanent feature. For a holiday event it was great and so much fun, but for a permanent feature it doesn’t quite feel full-fledged and has a lot of rough edges. I surely sense a lot of problems and game-breaking tricks people would discover. Maybe they can reskin it and put it in one of the cities (like keg brawl) while improving it too.
so…Anet, more work please? pretty please?
I love mini-dungeons. I would love for them to have many of those.
