Female Norn Mesmer, lots of charr around but no speed boosts. I mean really, it’s infuriating and extremely annoying but it IS doable. Took me 50ish attempts I’d guess.

I don’t really understand why people think it’s easier with the speed boosts. There are maybe 2 jumps in total that are easier with a higher run speed, and that’s only if you’re terrible at timing your jumps (which admittedly happened to me a couple times, but I got the hang of it pretty quickly).

As for my stats…

It’s WAY, WAY easier with a banner from a warrior.

EDIT: Although it’s probably just me, I run all jump puzzles with 25% from signet of shadows or permanent swiftness so I’m used to a faster cadence. The forced 0% speed boost threw me off pretty badly.

The speed boost doesn’t help that much with the jumps but in outracing the ooze.

I never, not a single time, had a problem outracing the mist. Every single failure was due to a misjump.

Asuran Elementalist, beat it twice in a row somehow after failing too many times to count, second time only got trick or treat bags.

Took me about an hour because i didn`t have any idea what to do at that last beam then realized you need to jump down.

Done it more than 5 times on my Asura guardian to show friends the route. Also done it on my Human Mesmer, Asura engineer and Human elementalist. It was tough at start but after i got through it the first time it feels easy now.

Had a ton of fun doing it even if I did fail 40 times before finally beating it, my friend still hasn’t completed it and yet he was still laughing at the end.

And warriors, please, for the love of Dwyana, do not use your stupid banners for swiftness. It really doesn’t help. All jump puzzles are possible WITHOUT swiftness. They lock our skills out for a reason, would be nice if you respected that.

It took me 2 hours to complete. It takes pretty much a perfect run to complete.

Excuse me, how does one use a speedboost when skills get removed?… ~_~ just wondering

I did it on my 11th clock face attempt due to some bug not letting me in. Had to relog to fix it.

The geometry was garbage before I completed it. The geometry remains garbage.

We ran the tower for 3h straight (me and 3 charrs).

Most awesome time i had with GW 2 since the first BWE.

Human Elementalist. I don’t know if Signet Passive counts (prolly not) but I had the speed one equipped before attempting.

Finished 3 times. I’d do it again (and more) if there was more incentive at the top.

Great challenging jumping puzzle. I died mostly in the beginning because it was really hard to navigate when you can’t even see you own character. XD

YOU DON’T GET ANY PASSIVE SPEED BOOSTS. In case you didn’t notice, EVERYTHING about your character gets removed when you enter the jumping puzzle (apart from armor.) Your skill bar becomes empty. It makes NO DIFFERENCE what profession you are!

Yes, all your skills and signets disappear, except ele attunement. I did not spec into air to try the passive traits to check if any of it works.

Food also remains active, but sugar crashing on the puzzle was hilariously fatal.

Quite easy once you pretty much know the first part a bit, the hardest part is actually going ahead of the zerg so you can actually see, once most of them fall it’s pretty easy

Did it with my 5 characters, the trick is trying to go first.

Human ele, speed boost from trait, took a good 2 hours, I kept getting caught out by one of the planks and kept hitting my head on it. Plus I didn’t know what to do for the planks where you have to jump off and jumping into the tower. And my kitten blocked my monitor when I was really close to the end and knew what to do. Plus had a bunch of Norn blocking my view and giving everyone a speed boost which put me off.
