Is it just me or the pumpkins are taking a long time to ‘reset’ itself. i have been running around LA for hours but still couldnt carve any of the pumpkins i did this morning.

I believe the pumpkins are on a daily reset. The reason why you may get multiple carvings in LA is due to the many different overflows.

Also you can carve every pumpkin once on every character every day. And the number of carved pumpkins is recorded account-wide so all characters contribute to the same achievement.

I used the WvW to reset them, worked great, did my 20 something in LA, entered WvW, back to LA and all were reset, rinse repeat, 45 mins later got 150.

Using alts is also a great advice.

WvW doesnt work for me for some reason. Guess ill probably come back tomorrow for the pumpkins.

Pumpkins can also be found in other human settlements i.e. queensdale

Well if you want to do it the easy way before they fix it, use alts, or use wvw as Vithaar pointed out. I personally went around la found all the pumpkins then queensdale, gendarran fields, than the other starting cities and first 2-3 zones out side of them. Look for Towns, villages, farms, random houses, and outposts in the world. Here is the break down of what I found roughly.

La-20
Queens-12-17+
Gendarren- 8-12
Kessex- 6-10
Plains of Ashford 8-12
Diessa 8-12+
Wyafarer-12-17+
snowden- 10+
Celaden forest 8-12+
Metrica 8-12
Brisband 10+

Now I Know I said go to starter towns, There are NO pumpkins in the starter towns HOWEVER it is a great starting point for the zones being there are usually 3-5 pumpkins right outside of the starter zone.

If you just re-log they reset. Or if you leave the town and come back they reset. Thats how i completed it in 30 mins.

caufenkamp and others, leaving town and coming back on it’s own will NOT reset the pumpkins.
You need to actually land on a different overflow server for this to work.
If you’re not hitting overflow, better use an alt.

Ah i see Cherrie. When i did it i just re-logged and they reset themselves. I was on overflow the entire time. Thats what i did and if it dosnt work for you then they might have changed it or im just lucky.
