Aww man I’m getting seriously tired! Trying to fight it as I don’t want to miss the event opening in case it’s amazing. Would suck to have to watch it on youtube because it was so late for the Euro Zone. Would really love it, if events in the future could maybe be just 1 or 2 hrs earlier. From what I understand the Acts 1-4 that they mentioned are going on for a few days at a time so I don’t think you’ll miss any of the timely stuff. Aside from the Acts, the rest of it will be going on all week.

Maybe I’m confused. According to http://wwp.greenwichmeantime.com/time-zone/usa/central-time/convert/ 22:31 was an hour and a half ago.

It is now the 23th for me. I would also agree with the many that replied before me. Anet really needs to improve their communication.
I am off to work, hopefully the patch comes today.

Yeah, I was bummed today when I logged in and noticed it hadnt started. But it’s free content so Im not gonna complain. I suppose I cant wait another hour.

We observe DST times. So we are ahead by an hour. Have to -1 for living in the states.

As of October 22nd at 3:53 PST I am still not able to find the Halloween event. Has ArenaNet not updated the servers yet? Will they be in all races capital cities or Lions Arch?

Not yet. Speculation is in an hour, but, Anet hasn’t said anything yet. Anet did a Twitch cast and said there would be new content in Fireheart Rise and Dredgehaunt Cliffs. And, Halloween content (new harvest items) all over and Lions Arch.

Exactly. With those two pieces of data, we can assume it’ll be between 5PM and 9PM PDT. 5PM is midnight GMT, and I most people won’t consider 9:30PM to be the afternoon.

Nothing yet on Tarnished Coast, but rumor is a few hours or something, I hope its soon However I am a little concerned with the announcement that Fireheart Rise and Dredgehaunt Cliffs will have new content, because my main char is still only level 32. I really hope I am still able to collect all of the goodies and still participate fully in the events.

The rise and cliff events are staying after the Halloween event is done

Wish there was an Internet Time so when it’s something that is world wide, like a game, they could have a reference time everyone would have. I hate time zones.

Midnight Seattle = 7am 23/10 Europe
8am 23/10 UK .

They said that more than just the Halloween content is being introduced with the new update. The new dungeons, jumping puzzles, etc. will be staying. You will still be able to craft the Halloween stuff you have recipes for. Only the ingredients you can harvest for the recipes will go away with the event.

And, of course the content for the Halloween event itself will go away after 1Nov.

Technically that could be considered UTC…which is pretty close to GMT.

PST? I think you mean PDT. (GMT -8 vs -7)

Servers tend to reset at GMT Midnight, so give it about another 45 minutes from this posting (at 4:15 PDT)

In the UK we’re on British Summertime (BST), so add 1 hour for GMT.

Well, you are currently in GMT+1 bud, because its still daylight saving time. You’ll go back to GMT+0 on the 28th.

Given that a good part of the world will be on October 23 when the patch goes live I feel it is a bit… missleading to say that the event starts on the 22nd. Please Anet, consider this in the future, as to not give your overseas fans that sad sensation of dissapointment when they fire up the game on the proclaimed day only to find it’s really not happening until the next.

I people really getting kitten (Wow, really? This word is censored?) over the supposed drop time of a Halloween patch? C’mon guys, have a little back bone. Logging onto the game and seeing the Halloween patch not live is hardly the most of your worries for sure…and if it is, could I swap lives with you?

But really, on-topic. Just wait it out, a 24hr difference isn’t really worth complaining over. Surely you guys have something more productive to do to pass the time. As long as it actually starts at a reasonable time within the next few days, I’ll be happy.

I have perused the threads concerning the Halloween Event for the better part of the day, what time does this freaking radness begin???
