Do you have to let the skritt live to get turned into the respective animal ? 3 times now i have found the chests and not gotten any achivement.

1st : Killed it pretty much in 5 seconds got no achivement and just crap loot.
2nd: Let it spawn, and run for a good 15 seconds, hit it once or twice (brought it to 40% in 1 auto hit…), let it run some more and killed it right before it was about to escape (giggled to itself and was ontop of the end point of event), no achivement/transform.
3rd: Pretty Much the same as the 2nd but only hit it once, at the start then followed it till it was about to escape and killed it before it vanished.

Are you meant to let it escape ? I can’t “pepper it” with little attacks to incite a “chase” because i literally 2 shot them ? Any Idea or input any1 ?

Update on this, I got transformed while doing one of the higher level ones, it randomly threw a potion at me(duno if this is because i was hitting it and NOT 2 shotting it) or purely cause i was following it) but it seems u must get hit with a potion they randomly throw to get transformed. hope this helps anybody that was wondering why no achivement after all the time wasted searching for the chests.

What achievement does this event give?

And where can this Skritt be found?

Is it a content related to Halloween maybe?

I found a random bag or whatever it was that spawned it in that cave with the veteran bears in Queensdale. I went there on another character and it wasn’t there, so apparently it is random.

But I only got changed once when I was chasing. And I’d say it took me pretty long to kill it. :/

But this is something that is permanently in the game now, so no rush on finding it.

To answer the other questions, the achievement you get is zone specific. Skritt burglers in different zones transform you into specific animals.

There might be other zones for each achievement but so far that is all that has being discovered.

This is a permanent feature, correct? Not Halloween specific. (so I don’t have to try to this as well as all the other Halloween stuff at the same)

Skullmount, it is, in fact, permanent. So no worries! You’ll be able to get it any time you want.

saw a player chasing one, as soon as i started chasing i became a raccoon.

I spawned the one in Frostgorge Sound. Those potions got thrown behind me at the start but then, I literally saw those potions hitting me 3 times but didnt get transformed once. He even transformed another mob but not me WTF?!
