Does it really make my character (human female) bald?

yes… extra words blah blah blah.

yes and it looks terrible – the baldness , not the hat itself .

I always hated when a game would have a really awesome looking hat but using the hat would make your character bald… why?! That’s a horrible hideous thing, why would you ever?

Keeping the original hair style would probably cause parts of the hair to clip through the hat, which would look pretty bad, but they could replace your character’s hair with a new hairstyle, specifically designed to fit in with the hat.

Of course, then players with bald (or nearly bald) characters would complain that their character had suddenly grown some hair.

Really can’t appreciate hats like this one or the black gw2 hat you get when the game was launched, feels weird that your character goes “bald”.

All hats should retain some sort of hairstyle and preferably same color as the hair color our char had to begin with but that isn’t a priority i suppose

they just stuffing all the hair up under the hat so you can’t see it, but it s there :P

On this hat you look even more bald than usual considering how high it sits on your head in the back.

They need to make some token universal hair that goes under these hats. I get not wanting to deal with every hairstyle. If it was short hair then it would look like most of your hair was tucked in the hat and it’d look so much better.

Agreed, they need to put some kind of hairstyle up in that hat. Bald just does not look good.
