Guild Wars 2

I love minis. I love to collect them, and I love to show them off. This addiction started back in Guild Wars 1 and grew into an obsession. The Guild Wars 2 minis haven’t had quite as much pull over me mostly due to the lack of any that are extremely fun.

Until Halloween. The Halloween minis are the best ones yet. Especially the ghost, which is the cutest thing I’ve ever seen in my life. And the spider that makes tap tap noises as it walks. I disliked having to grind out another 5 gold so I could destroy 3, make the rare, then rebuy the 3, but it was worth it.

Anet, please make more cool minis for Wintersday. Thanks

loved them too! It hurt to destroy them for chainsaw, but I managed to sell off some candy corn and get just enough gems to get them again! I heart the ghost!!!

I really like the spooky ghost mini. The skeleton and chainsaw the skeleton are disappointing though. The latter feeling like the same skeleton mini with a bunch of chainsaws tacked on.

Some of the better mini pets in general are just cool looking monsters. I don’t understand why they keep adding npc’s as miniatures. No one wants a Logan Thackery mini pet. No one liked having a Jora minipet in Guild Wars 1 either for the same reason. It’s all about having just a really sweet creature with funny sounds following you around. That’s why I got a mini Shade as well.

So Anet, as a mini pet collector, I can tell you that character based minis are just the least fun. Unless its a Mad King Thorn mini. They need to have a coolness factor. Logan sucks. Whenever there is a boredom-convention, Logan is the first to be invited (Trahearne is second to be invited).

For Wintersday I would love to see ice elemental minis, snowman minis, and mini grentches. Those are cool to have.

Is it just me, or is chain saw a bit small, even smaller than the skeleton? O_o

While I do like the ghost quite a bit, the green spider is the one I prefer. Watching it twitch and hop around just makes me laugh for whatever reason. It is now being toted around on my main, who previously only carried around the chromatic ooze, my favorite mini.

I’m sure Mad Queen Malafide already knows from the other thread, but I agree completely with their sentiments here. I think a mini made out of candy canes in some way would be nice, too. Mostly because my guildies keep accidently saying ‘candy cane golem’ instead of ‘candy corn golem’, lol.

I’m not super big on the minis, but I have all the ones in the “special” category. I’m Hoping when they open the poly mock arena that’s by Rata sum, that they allow you to use mini pets, instead of collecting poly mock pieces like in gw1. I figure it’s not to far of a stretch seeing how they made “vanity costumes” quite fun with costume brawl.

I wish the witch outfit familiar pet would stay longer when you summon him it should.

I would love to see a candy cane or candy corn golem mini. That would be splendid. I have a Miniature Mad King’s Guard in GW1 that I am very attached to.
