Guild Wars 2

To start maybe its just me, but i like this map more than some of the spvp ones.

Pros

I like thats theres a lot more going on than just killing each other. The grass making you invisable (while it feels pretty familiar from league of legends…not that thats a bad thing) also adds more depth to plays. The whole idea of fighting over fuel (pumpkins) to spawn minions to take out the enemys base is simply amazing and unique.

If i had any thing to say “other than it could use some slight polish” i would very much like to keep this game live after halloween or atleast a map using the same play style.

everything else

The only reason i couldnt see it as being competitive is due to the randomness of the pumkin spawns making it sometimes feel like one side might have an unfair advantage…honestly i dont feel that is something your thinking or caring about usually though and it doesnt seem to be “completely” random.

Also while i like the idea of everyone having the same abilitys for balance sake (and they’re good abilitys) it would be nice if each profession had atleast a couple class defining abilitys. I cant say how this would badly effect the game play but i do know even if i was pretty much doing the same thing as the guy next to me of a different profession i’d atleast like my abilitys to LOOK different. Theres a certain satisfaction of knowing your playing your profession that is left out…even a cosmetic uniqueness between professions would solve this.

Also, getting rewards for winning matches. I noticed no glory but you seem to get candy corn etc? This spawns the idea…why dont all mini games give some kind of PVE currency reward of some kind. That would mean i could farm them! (something i might enjoy doing more than farming a dungeon or events in orr) just a thought….as long as i’m not getting it at an incredibly easier or faster pace i see no reason why not. If someone finds farming orr etc more engaging in fun..they can do that…let me do this.

Also would it hurt to allow me to choose whether i want my pve or pvp cosmetic gear while i’m in the mini games? i’m not getting glory anyway so i see no reason why i’m forced to wear my spvp gear (which brings up a whole other arguement i’m not going to get into).

Anyway just thought i’d lend some feedback. Overall i was on the verge of uninstalling this game, this halloween stuff has really inspired interest in me and managed to atleast get a couple of my friends to come check it out. Definitly some really neat things you got going…i just hope arenanet keeps the things that are working and refines them and cleans up the things that are anti-fun or create less satisfactory experiences.
