People are getting a bit afraid over the RNG issue. I understand , i also think it was a fiasco, and it proves Anet still got a long road before they can do things 100% right in my opinion.

BUT

There are 3 more acts guys, chill a bit , just like we got the book back slot , most likely there will be other skins in the event , even weapon skins (people linked in my guild , no idea where they got the skins).

My point is , dont be afraid you wont get something from halloween , there are more 3 acts , sure they will do something interesting on them.

I’m rather interested in the list of things that were added under the hood during the last few patches. There was an endless makeover and hair item added.

I would love to purchase these in the future… but I doubt it will be direct purchase set priced.

I could almost guarantee you they will be in the chests also… the permanent banker is.

Oh well, maybe someday! At least they will add the possibility of a shadow of a doubt of getting them.

As long as they don’t time limit (only available for a week…) the permanent makeovers when they come out, I guess we can get them eventually?

Either way, I saw alot of interesting things from the gw2db files and its piqued my interest for the next acts.

Maybe things will get better.

Or maybe they will add all this stuff to the chest because people have been buying those en masse.

Lets just wait and see I guess.

Got to agree a bit with Cortechs.

The excessively rare skins from Black Lion’s- and Mad King’s Chests, drives the prices fairly high for any casual players looking to purchase them (I am not one of the casuals, but can still put myself in their shoes). The permanent versions of the rentable Staff/Shield/Bow requires a rather insane amount of investment to create, it’s like a mini-legendary!

Don’t get me wrong, it’s not that I’m not all for having stuff to do during an event, but I think ArenaNet went a bit over the top on these things. And while I can manage to get a lot of these fluff and fun things, I am pretty sure there are a large number of more casual players that can’t. Simply because of the amount of time/cash (real or in-game) they require.

For an event, I’d rather see more or less everyone being able to get most rewards, as that is fun for those that are able to get them. I personally don’t need any super-rare rewards from an seasonal event; I can show my hardcore dedication in the game with multiple legendaries on a single character instead.

There will be more skins, the set only has shoulders now, it is a very lame way of doing it tho and everyone who brought keys early won’t be happy.
