Guild Wars 2

ArenaNet has done an incredible job with the Halloween events. Since Guild Wars 1 and the circles of dancing pumpkin head people in Lion’s Arch, it has become a tradition to celebrate the spooky holiday in-game.

My guildmates from Caedas and friends from other guilds all came together to help me make this Halloween video. 100% of the footage was taken while in-game:

I would like to dedicate this to my Dad, whose birthday is today! Thank you for encouraging me in my filmmaking pursuits and for showing me Tim Burton’s Nightmare Before Christmas when I was just a lad.

Very nice! I’ve also had that song stuck in my head ALL WEEK, so it’s good to see I wasn’t the only one. :P

I think capturing some scenes from the Reaper’s Rumble/Lunatic Inquisition would’ve been good, as well as getting some chaos from the Costume Brawl around the Cauldron, but you definitely captured the feel of the Lion’s Arch scenery really well.

Beautifully done! I linked it to a guildie who’s been singing that song nonstop for days I used to Grand March to that song, too, and love the movie, and it went so very well with the Tyrian effects.

@ MikeRocks I had a chance to play both of those mini games and had a lot of fun doing so. I wish I would have thought to turn off my interface and get some footage. It crossed my mind afterwards, but I wanted to go ahead and release the video in time for Halloweeeen.

Thank you and your guild for this video. You all have the heart of a true player (a player who plays the game simply for enjoyment thereby getting the absolute most out of it). I hope more players like you continue to exist. Keep it up.
