Where’s the achievement in just TRYING to do something?
Keep it as is. BUT make the achv easier to get. for example for trying the tower. or part of the way and keep the chest for the lucky few to make it. i have given to much time in trying this and failing mainly because there to many people and i cant see what im doing. or make it so only a few people ( 5 or 6) are grouped and run it together. but 10+ mae it a lot harder atleast for a lot of people i was with to complete. I for one could care less for the chest i just want the ach so i can move on to other event stuff…
Same. The chests in the realm only drop trash greens now anyway thanks to exploiters. If the achievement was easier to get then that would be great. And all those hardcore WoW expacks could be left to chase the chest happily and troll the then probably silent complaint threads about it.
Its just an achievement. i get the same thing from killing 10 of the same mob. unable to complete the whole event because of this isn’t finishable except for a small % of players. Something of this difficulty should be a deal breaker for completing a world event.
The Clock Tower Achievement does NOT count for the title tally.
All you’re missing form not having it is 10 Achievement Points and a orange bag in the Achievement log.
It’s perfectly acceptable to have those not skilled enough at jumping to not EARN and ACHIEVEMENT, as it does not impact the rest of the holiday events at all.
It would also be acceptable if everyone could get the achievement. You can do Griffonrook Run without getting the chest and move slower and still get achievement. ;-)
Then Griffonrook should be fixed, not the Tower broken.
Maybe they could make it available all year… if it does not count for the title and you get all the other achievements and get the title… then you are emissary of the mad king, right? Then you should have access to his realm and be able to do that puzzle all the time(of course tune down the chest rewards then). That seems like a good solution.

Just finished the puzzle… It is really bad. Poor design,..
It’s not really a “puzzle” since the way is just straightforward, what makes it hard are other players + time limit… I had no fun at all doping this and i really hope Anet makes some changes…
Why do people seem to think that they are owed achievements? Achievements are for achieving something, not something that everyone should just be given.
It’s called an ACHIEVEMENT. You ACHIEVE it. If it activated just by being there or just by trying it’s called a CHECKPOINT.
You work for achievements. Sometimes it’s hard and you can’t get it. I really don’t get why this is so hard to understand.

it should be hard its an achievement not something 100% of players should have
hours and i finally got it man what a grind. should take that long
So mindlessly farming hundreds of hours for a legendary weapon or outright buying gold for it is A-OK. Taking time to master a jumping route for an achievement is a grind and needs to be made easier.

the task is fine i thought it was needed for the main event but it isn’t so leave as is. I just didn’t think the amount of time spent on it was needed for the event. thats all. tower is fine as is. well they could limit the people so you can see where your going. and farming for a legendary it worth the grind not some achv for a tower in my opinion. as for buying gold. its dumb and a good waste of money. but im not one to judge someone for doing so. Personally I wouldn’t anything in the game is obtainable.
