I mean:

Will the halloween crafting components still be obtainable?
Will the halloween recipes that can be bought from vendors be available?

Will the halloween crafting components that are in our inventory disappear after halloween is over?

Will the scavenger hunt be available still?

Basically, what I am saying is, what will stay and what will not.

Basically, all of the content (mobs, mini games) will stop spawning, but none of the rewards (skins, loot) will be taken from you.

Components only available from people who horde them and selle them on TP.

We keep whats in our inventory, naturally.

Recipes you bought are yours perptually. You can also still create certain reciepes in the Mystic Forge.

No more scavenger hunt, its only durning the event.

-The materials such as candy, skulls, nougat and plastic fang will no longer be obtainable
- The recipes will be available as supply allows from players who got these recipes from the tot bags and sell them on TP but no longer from npcs
-They will not disappear, alot of rage would go over this :p
- The scavenger hunt wont be available anymore

The things that wont be there are the ones related strictly to halloween and only appeared for the season, which is most of them anyway…in fact very few things will remain unless they are possessed by players already and transferable

Pretty much what TheRabbit said. To add clarity on the recipe question, while the recipes won’t be available (to my knowledge), the recipes you already obtained will still be active. So you can still make your spicy pumpkin cookies and whatnot.

Crafting components will only be available through the trading post.
Recipes will also be available there but the vendors will be gone.

Components in your inventory will of course stay in your inventory.
Scavenger hunt goes away, the games go away, the mad king dungeon goes away.

The new jumping puzzles stay except for the clock tower. trick or treat doors go away.

I probably missed some things, feel free to add on.

The crafting mats that have already been harvested/collected will stay. But you won’t be able to get new mats unless you buy them from somebody who saved some.

You won’t be able to buy the recipes anymore, but if they can still be discovered if you have the mats.

All halloween quests/instances/mini dungeons/etc… will be gone. So no you won’t be able to run the scavenger hunt until next year.

My guess is:
- Not until next year (or maybe TP)
- Not until next year

- Don’t think so

- Not until next year (or they implement it in an other way due to popular demand)

Does anybody have an Anet source confirming any of this? That would be nice and definitive. I would also like to know if the recipes for the hw weapons are only discoverable / obtainable during halloween or also after the event. And if discovered recipes will continue to exist and be usable after the halloween event.

Recipes will definitely be usable after the event, they’ve said that much.

As for any halloween components needed in crafting the recipes, you’ll have to buy those from the TP since you wont’ be able to get candy corn and all that from gameplay. Thus take a look at anything you might want to craft that requires halloween stuff and go buy what you need while it’s dirt cheap.
