So, I did the clock tower puzzle and after over 9000 tries I managed to do it.
Of course I was so hyped with excitement when I opened the chest, that I forgot to loot the boots and the 2 tonics and ran of.

After realising my stupidity I did the run once again, only to find trick-or-treats bags…

So, where did my boots go?

into the void!

but honestly i hope a dev can help you out and get the boots to you

especially if you have the Clock Tower achievement they can easily see you did it… and since i heard those slippers are soulbound, they don’t have to worry about you ‘selling’ them to anyone or anything, even if you did end up with two pairs.

So seems no harm no foul.

I went through hell to get those boots I really whish someone could help me out

How exactly did you forget to loot something. Was your inventory full?

That’s awful I hope they can restore those to you.

While this won’t help you with this issue, you might want to consider turning on Auto Loot in your options. With that you still have to hit F but when you do (including when you open a chest), everything automatically goes into your bags. If the bags are full, you get a clear warning of it and a chance to ditch or mail something away to make room before hitting F again to collect the loot.

No Jnaathra, I just didn’t click on them! I thought they went automaticly to the inventory and they did not

They aren’t soulbound. And I don’t think ANet will be able to place them in your inventory. Your other options could be:

1) beat the puzzle again on a different toon (of the same armor type)
2) farm the Ascent to Madness mini dungeon as the chest can drop them.
3) buy a pair off the trade house

At this point these may be your best options.

create an alt and do the run with them, you can put the boots in the bank and give them to your first character. just make sure they use the same armour as your main. you can always destroy the alt after.

oh.. if they are not soulbound i can’t imagine Anet giving the OP another pair.

Maybe they have is a way of checking if I actually already had them… In the transactions or something

they very very much are soulbound…I have a pair I haven’t worn in my inventory and am 100% they are soulbound.

How do I submit a ticket?

The safe route would be to just buy a pair, they should be just over 1G.

You may want to have a look in “options” and turn on autoloot for the future.

oops yeah, they are soulbound. hadn’t really checked that.

Same thing kinda happened to me. After working on the puzzle for about 13 hours I finally got it, “BOOYAKASHA!” Then I’m in a room and a split second later I’m back at the start of the puzzle with the group again. Checked my achievements (even though I saw it pop on the bottom right of the screen) and I clearly finished it. Couple tries later I did it again and beat it. Yet to go into a room and then be reset back to the start of the race a split second later.

They have said multiple times they can’t replace items, but I wish you luck.

Well, I submited a ticket to them but I won’t get my hopes high though I did that puzzle countless times for nothing besides the achiev I guess.

That’s weird because I sold mine (medium grade) at the auction house. Maybe a bug?

Meh, just buy the skin from the TP, its just the seer/duelist/pit fighter set.
