Where is Clock Tower? I read I need to find a gate but I do not find it.

You need to have completed act 1 before you can enter. Once you have completed it you can go through alot of portals throughout kryta (genderran, queensdale en kessec hills). Try all 3 areas. Go to a pumpkin on the map and enter the door.

ok and because act1 ended I cant play with it

Awww so if we didn’t complete act 1 we’re locked out of the rest of the events?

I cant’ find the doors with the pumpkin icon and whatnot. Requirements to enter the clock tower aren’t specified anywhere. Please ANet be more clear. Thanks.

I haven’t had time to do the first event because of work being so busy. I just wanted to know if not participating in act one means that I am locked out of the Halloween event and cannot continue with any of them??

This would be such a huge disappointment. I was wondering if anyone knew.

I haven’t completed Act 1, but can get into the Mad King’s realm with no trouble. Are we sure it’s a requirement?

Have you checked Queensdale? There should be doors with pumpkin icons all over the map. Besides I seriously doubt you would be locked out of the event just because you didn’t do act 1 content.

It would have been more helpful if players were given this information such as “in order to move on to Act 2 you must complete the following things in Act 1” or some such. If they did do this somewhere upon making the content available, I must have missed it. There didn’t seem to be any actual list of events, where to find them, where to find quest givers and what level the player should be or needs to be to attempt it, if applicable. AS I said, if there was one released as soon as the content was made available, I didn’t run across it.

Well, people always get their bloomers in a bunch about “spoilers”. I just noted the pumpkin icons all over the map after arriving in Lion’s Arch and decided to check out the one near…um…that place I like to craft in Queensdale.

(pauses to get more coffee)

Claypool, that’s it. Next thing I was in a zerg killing Halloween critters and picked up nearly an entire level’s worth of experience, but then was too sleepy to continue. Fun stuff.
