So, I bought a severed dagger skin off the TP since it was supper cheap and was feeling festive. After applying it to my main hand dagger and re-equipping it I immediately regretted buying the skin. Not only does it clip into your character (looks like I’m stabbing myself in the throat), it doesn’t even have any fancy animation like the greatsword/sword/shield. I also tried using it in the offhand slot and it still looks stupid. What was the budget on making the dagger skin? Half a Mars bar?

How about a screenshot? Didn’t find the look of it anywhere…

Like most of the weapons in the game, they spent all their time/money making the greatswords look good and had none left over for the dagger.

Don’t worry, 1H sword is boring as dagger. You can barely notice it has any animation at all.

Yeah i once bought a special clothing item off a website with no idea what it looked like. When it arrived at my house i was very unhappy that it wasnt the right colo………oh wait..no i didnt, i actually look for pictures of the items im buying before i get them..

Yeah, unless you are playing a class that wields either a greatsword or a staff, the rest of the weapon skins are worthless. Not because they don’t necessarily look cool, but because no one will ever see it!

Same thing goes with the legendary. I’m actually glad, as it has removed any desire to farm for a legendary or Halloween weapon skin, thus allowing me to relax and play the game casually, and not get caught up in the insane grind that is GW2.

But.. but… It’s a 2handed dagger .-.

It’s a hand holding a dagger, I’d dig that.

And yes I agree with Louis, daggers & pistols tends to end up getting clipped into most leg armor that nobody would even notice em, its barely noticeable on Charr.
People in my dungeon group sometimes wonder if I actually had a weapon equipped.

You’re just not playing the right type of character!

Evil, eccentric, Asuran minion master Necromancer! I have both The Crossing and the dagger skin. Using random body parts for my weapons fits him oh so well.
