Why are endless tonics bound?
I was wondering this, too. Personally, I’d love to spend some cash on Endless Tonics, ‘cause I like to RP and I have a concept that could use them to great effect. At the moment, I’m just using the temp ones.
There’s definitely a market for them. I think you should be able to trade/sell them, but have them bind to account when first used. Maybe put it into a tradeable package that warns you that it’ll become accountbound after you open it?
This is coming from someone who spent 20g+ on Candy Corn in order to get the Endless Halloween Tonic. I’m definitely willing to spend some gold to get them without having to deal with Black Lion Chests.
And I’m sure there’re plenty of people out there who are more than willing to take my gold for those potions. :P
Goal: To have one character of every race, gender, and armor class combination at level 80.
Current progress: Human 4/6 | Charr 1/6 | Norn 1/6 | Sylvari 1/6 | Asura 1/6 | Total: 8/30
I have an endless tonic, I don’t want it. I know there are people out there who do, and I’d sell it to them if I could.
Really, what a stupid restriction, up there with dungeon tokens being character bound. They changed that though, so maybe someone at anet will realise this restriction is pretty kitten too and change it. But I won’t hold my breath.
I would totally buy some endless tonics ! I opened around 500 PToT bags just to try getting one.
