If I were to be unable to play by the time Act 2 launches on the 26th, am I going to miss some of the content from Act 1?

Was about to post the same question. I am very worried about this as my work schedule is preventing me from playing.

My guess is that you might miss the the quest where you collect the Mad Memoires because the quest has a bar that very slowly fills up. Looks like a countdown for when the quest ends. I forget what the quest is called. If you use a guide like this, http://www.guildwarsinsider.com/gw2-halloween-the-great-scavenger-hunt/ , it takes very little time.

Nobody knows for sure except Devs but my guess would be no. It seems like you need to finish act 1 in order to start act 2 by what the NPC says.

Im going to assume that all content will be available right till the 5th. That way even if you start on the 4th you wont miss out (except for the stuff people are farming)

There are still a lot of achievements i need to do also. Hmm.

The event finishes on the 1st. Only the BLTC is keeping Halloween until the 5th.

Find a video guide on YouTube, complete it in under 30 minutes. I know it takes the fun away, but at least you’ll have it completed.

Some of the clues are obtuse beyond belief, but I guess it’s why Act 1 is three days long.
