I’m wondering, because if this is the case I’d better use up my candy corn now, but I would much rather wait until we have a broader idea of what’s available to craft, and how much it costs.

Candy corn can be used year round but it can only be farmed during halloween

And another question, will it turn account or soul bound after the event is over? Or will we still be able to trade it?

I suppose that’s a good thing to know. I plan on farming enough to make some weapons, but I don’t expect to be finished with all the weapons I’d like to make before the event ends.

there have been other threads asking the same question and the good people at Anet have answered this.
Also you can trade it after halloween. (like all other crafting material)
