If or when it’s rebuilt, it’d be neat if it was a mini-game wide event in which each part was being worked on in the race’s Representative cities. It’d be a good excuse to go back to these places, rather than only hanging in LA.

Not that we will never permanently destroy anything. In fact… well, I can’t say more than that.

Oh gosh, now I know something is up. Sea of Sorrows content perhaps? Is the mean old water dragon going to break something? >.< Tell!

Seems like a great opportunity for the Tengu be released as playable and/or have their borders open up as well as have them add something to the fountain. May be a little early for that though.

Sitting down and reading the details of what went into making the fountain leads to a good insight of the types of things that go into many of the things in game that we take for granted.

Thank you for sharing that detail, Mr Foreman! I won’t say that I take many things in the game for granted – the game itself, the scenery and overall design do continue to amaze me, but this sort of detail and information just provide more reasons for amazement at what may appear to be “trivial” things when looked at casually!

This could be the beginning of a running gag. Destroy the Lion’s Arch fountain, then create a load of quests/events to rebuild it, then destroy it all over again at the next holiday, and so on. . .

As beautiful as it was, if the LA statue comes back and everything goes back to exactly how it was, then the whole thing is for nothing, and may as well not have happened.

Come on guys, even Disney World changes the rides now and again… Give us some PERSISTENCE!

I loved standing in the middle of that fountain listening to the “music” made by the water splashes of the fishes. It drove my boyfriend crazy though, so he will be happy if it doesn’t make it back into the game.

They do make changes. Look at the new jumping puzzles and ini-dungeons.

But when you spend many resources on something, removing it would be a waste.

Please rebuild the fountain over the course of a month. So its rebuild in time for Wintersday to be destroyed again, and turned into an ice rink.

Can anyone else besides me picture a giant Christmas tree in Lion’s Arch in the place where the Lion used to be?
