just magically reappear…or….not at all… o_O

Well, it magically exploded to form a gateway to another realm, so I wouldn’t be too upset if it magically fixed itself once we closed the realm.

Edit: On the other hand, that’d make for a pretty cool world event. Make it take a HUGE amount of gathering materials so that the whole server can help to rebuild the statue.

Whoa. Awesome idea. I like the idea of rebuilding the statue ourselves. It would be like in WvW where you repair doors etc.

Of course how would this work with overflow servers? Does the statue need to get repaired for each instance or just in the main server?

I was kinda curious if its rebuilding would be part of Act 4 since Act 4 kinda sounds likes a breather day of the final event. I don’t really feel that like anything too worse can happen at this stage, I mean ppl are beating Mad King Thorn x305825082, I doubt he’ll be coming out anytime soon. xD

Either that, or a week of the NPCs rebuilding it or something would be interesting, adding to flavor, or adding a DE would be pretty cool too.

Not to compare to another game but for an expansion in EQ2, there was a giant world event that had us build gateways to the new plane.

Those gates are still the only way to get there.

You had people that had the trade skill build the items to make it, and people who didn’t could gather the material.

Would be great to see something similar.

I have a feeling it will be “Under Construction” during the Act 4 party, and once Act 4 is over the statue will be back to normal.

That would make the most sense, considering the only achievement left it seems we need to get is “attend the party”.

It would be cool if they slowly ad people rebuild it. Then had a celebration event once it was complete. Nothing huge though.

with the rebuilding project, at least now workers at LA can finally get rid of all the pallets of wood stacked around the hub…

my guess is that when the event ends, the game’s DAT file will be updated, and the game “back to normal” without incident.

I am fairly certain Act 4 is clean-up that culminates a “grand opening of new Aslan statue” party.

They should make it a giant event with scaling rewards based on materials donated. It should accept massive amounts of T6 leather and T6 fine crafting mats. The price for those things has been in the toilet for weeks now. It would drive the price back to reasonable levels and be a fun event

edit Butter too… we could always get rid of more butter… it could be like the glue that holds the lion together…
