First as a disclaimer, I love the event, I love the witch costume, it is both fun and really evil in Costume Brawl. The best part, however, is of course the cauldron.

Here comes the weird thing: It appears when I drink from my own Cauldron, I always become a “witch hylek”, i.e. a green hylek with a witch’ kitten while I see other people being transformed in all sorts of animals, or even a blue ooze (coolest transform ever imo).

It appears intentional, but makes me a bit sad, for I wanted to use the cauldron to turn into random creatures for fun all year round, that’s why I bought the costume in the first place.

Might it be possible to make the transformation from your own cauldrons use the same set of randoms creatures that everyone else gets, and just add the witch hylek in addition as a chance for the witch who made the cauldron?

I can’t even use my own cauldron so I guess you should consider yourself lucky

Okay, we got one witch who only ever becomes a hylek, another one who cannot even drink from her own cauldron… does it work flawlessly for anyone?

I will try it out when I get home tonight! I had fun with the mad king outfit last night so it’s the witch’s (warlock’s) turn.

Cauldron works fine here. Haven’t had any issues. And I get random transformations as well. Got a corpse at one time, and I have got the Hylek before as well.

But barely use it any ways. I mostly just lay it down for others to use so they can participate.

Happens to me too, that’s all I become.

If you use YOUR cauldron you become a hylek (tried 10 times to check and works the same for other players i asked)

If you use a couldron of anotherwitch even if you are with you get random transformation…..

But i think most transformations comes only from the forge

no plastic spider unfortunately….

Just switch back from town clothes to normal armor and you will get a random shape again. This works both on your own cauldron and those of other witches.

@Skeletor: I also tried that, it had no effect whatsoever, whereas it does not matter whether I am wearing the witch costume or not – using another player’s cauldron gives me a random transformation.
