does this actually happen, or is this a “what would happen if it were more like life” situation?

Nah, your character actually throws up if you eat a lot of candy corn in a row. Dunno why, but the animation and noise actually conjured up the smell of sick in my room. kitten you, phantom smells!

Probably the terrible jokes that come with the Mad King Thorn costume. I’m looking forward to seeing the man himself for the pinnacle ones…and laughing…because I don’t want to die.

The quaggans in costume, they are so cute!!

The added ways of earning karma are really the only change I have seen that I like.

Favorite part: The Crossing staff… I think it looks awesome. The Witch and Mad King Outfits are cool too. I didn’t get the Mad King Outfit, but those corny/cheesy jokes are worth it I think. Nothing funner than planting down a cauldron as a trap… As soon as people drink it, blast them with the BATS! or Melt… both help you get the crown on above your head. The Back item (the book) matches my Necro quite nicely. I hope we get to keep it or heck even get a better version (stats wise)!

Worst Part: Wasting 150 Candy Corn (which was annoying cause I went out to look for Candy Ores, didn’t know I could get them by other means at the time, then after buying and getting disappointed by it, people said I could have just bought it with 6s) to find out that the staff was temporary and can’t be transmuted.

Now if i want the permanent version, I have to craft it. Problem I have with that is first, I’m not an Artificer. Second, have a very busy schedule so I can only clock an hour or 2 MAX per night, sometimes 0 hours even. Third, one of my most despised aspects of the game are the dungeons and being forced to collect 500 tokens along with ridiculous amount of other rare stuff. I just wish we could have just the skin. Why they made it an item. I have no idea.

Do note that there’s more things I liked than things I disliked. It’s just sucks that the item I was looking forward to get is impossible for me to acquire in the short amount of time I can devote to playing GW2.

Honestly, some of the balance tweaks.

I like the event and all, but I’m so glad balancing the classes didn’t get completely shelved for the event. I was concerned about that.

I cheated, when you’re swimming you don’t throw up.

I love the attainable, but still tough, achievements. I feel like a lot of other games’ holiday achievements are nearly impossible to get during one festival. These one’s seem like I can finish them up in this week, hopefully. For an achievement kitten, that’s pretty awesome.
I also love the witch costume. The face your character makes while riding the broom is awesome

I think once again the art team did a tremendous job with all the decorations, pumpkins, floating candles, general atmosphere, etc. That’s what I enjoy the most.

I love my witches costumes as well. It’s adorable! I also love all the spooky decorations and the costume brawls. The scavenger hunt was a lot of fun too. I’m glad it was a little bit of challenge to find each site. Instead of googling the answer, I read lore to figure out the answers and to me that made it much more rewarding and fun.

Tossing in my vote for the baby quaggans in costume.

The scavenger hunt comes in a very close second though!

All the costumed kids in Lion’s Arch are ridiculously cute. (I still haven’t gotten tired of the Charr near the trading post who can’t pronounce “Halloween” and ends up shouting “It’s candy day!”)

Really like the scavenger hunt and costume brawls, too.

The Quaggan in LA that says “Coo! … Oh wait, that’s not how I was supposed to do it! Cooooooooooooooo!” The 2nd Coo being in a more haunted type of tone.
