yes this is a QQ thread but only due to me being frustrated. i had a stroke when i was younger which took away the use of my left hand(no function at all). i have been able to do every jump puzzles till this one, because i took my time and you can’t on this one. and honestly i tend to avoid content that i am unable to do cause of my disablility. but since this is required for “emissary of the mad king” achievement , i have to figure out a way to do it. I’m not asking for anet to change the puzzle , cause i think its a great puzzle.

if anyone has any suggestions for me id greatly appreciate it.

It is 100% confirmed that it is not required for the title. Stop assuming things. Im sorry for your disability but I hardly think it would be plausible for Anet to put in a whole separate instance for people who are unable to do it.

no left hand? bind all your buttons, move forward, jump, etc to the mouse in your right hand.

Yep, you don’t need to complete the clock tower for anything other than its own achievement. It doesn’t count for the meta achievement.

You could have a guildmate or friend you trust a lot log into your account and run it for you (Assuming they can even finish, seems a lot of folks are having difficulty)

Bind everything to mouse buttons and do it that way.

Clicking LMB + RMB makes you run. Bind jump to your scrollwheel or something. Good luck!

Well a good friend of mine is playing with a cast on his left hand right now so do what he did – map jump and run to buttons on your mouse. Almost every decent mouse comes with three or more buttons these days. I’m using a $25 logitech mouse that has 6 including the clickable scroll wheel.

They -thought- it was for the achievement and it turns out it’s not. So …OMFGawd!… they made an error…take them out and shoot them why don’t you.

Like to also add to this: Alot of misinformation has been going around about it being needed for the achievement, and the devs only JUST announced that it wasn’t. indeed I agree, stop being a troll. begone.

I am merely stating it so that other people may see it and not start another of the ton of threads saying there should be an easier version of the jumping puzzle. Your original comment came across as quite uncalled for and aggressive in nature. If anyone made an assumption it was you for telling the OP that he assumed to begin with. Very likely he got his information from a source he believed to be legitimate.

Im a huge proponent for usability and designers making games accessible. I hear your pain, I hope ANet does. Such a huge disappointment.

You should get yourself a Razer Naga mouse. Not just for Guild Wars, but for computer use in general. I bet it would help a ton!
