so the title says it all…. I soloed killed the mad king as a lvl 7 guardian with a scepter and torch. All I did was lure him to the little gazebo looking things and spammed my 2 and 5 threw the wall for about an hour or so. The large groups of mobs were harder than the boss himself. Might wanna fix this.

First, there have been a number of Mad King solo posts already. Second, you can beat the Mad King event in a fraction of that time with a group, and getting in one is ridiculously easy. It’s not like you’re getting better rewards killing him alone. You’re just.. taking a lot more of your time up doing something that is normally completed relatively easily and quickly.

Solo or in a group, the trash mobs are the toughest part of that instance. The king himself is pretty easy to “tank”. He just has a large health pool.

Any boss with predictable and avoidable mechanics can be soloed, just how far and how desperate you are to prove a point which nobody really cares about.

well first I had no idea what was in that area when I went in and I still killed him. My main point of this is that player skills with AoE can go threw walls even if the bosses skills can’t. I never claimed to be the first or the fastest so no I dont want a cookie.

Well , yeah the spiders could beat MK any day.

Still dont think they will rebalance that , 1 because it ends tomorrow , 2 because it was meant to really easy so a level 2 can do it , in a party usually.

Soloed the mad king without cheating (aka hiding in the gazebo). Can I get a bigger cookie? ;-)

It’s a level 2 boss actually – meant for the largest amount of people to be able to kill him. It’s normal he’s rather easy.
