Brief Description:
A recently formed guild is looking for more members to help establish a strong, detected presence on Tarnished Coast (US). We are looking for members who enjoy well organized PvP with a main focus on being involved in World vs. World. Empire At War is classified as an RP-PvP guild, however, RP will not be a necessity, we just ask that members have respect for the Roleplaying community of Guild Wars 2.

Our Story:
Humans once held dominion over the lands of Tyria, the banners of our kingdoms could be seen waving from every corner of the world. Now we are reduced to a single capital, cramped, hanging by our very fingertips off of a cliff with our backs to the ocean as we struggle for survival under a government unworthy of leadership, and with faith in gods who do not answer the calls of our people. Our Queen allows the very beast that assisted with our near extinction walk about our remaining city freely, unchecked, how low we have come.
At this point humanity must now act to secure our future, revolution must be sparked, we must retake what is ours, and conquer to reclaim our former glory under the banners of a united people. This is a call for a crusade.
Structure:
- Empire At War is heavily influenced, and themed by various inspirations. The Roman Empire for military, and power, and The Knight’s Templar for loyalty to cause.
What we offer:
- We wish immerse you in a grand experience with your time in our guild. Producing effective military strategy, and tactics during World vs. World conflict, conducting patrols in conquered territory to assure no stragglers remain behind to potentially retake any zones. Have dedicated defensive units to protect our conquered holds, and protect supply lines, dedicated offensive units to siege, and wave our banners on captured locations.
- An organized, and helpful guild. PvP will be our main focus but since Arena Net has done such an amazing job with every bit of content in Guild Wars 2 of course we shall enjoy the dungeons, and exploration together. We’re here to enjoy Guild Wars 2 for its many aspects, PvP, PvE, lore, crafting, adventure etc.
- Though we do engage in competitive PvP the game should be played for fun, not feel like another job. Together as a guild we will do our best to help each other have some of the best experiences, and good times, hopefully enough bring on nostalgia in the future.
Requirements:
The requirements for this guild are very minimal, just be respectful, have fun, and help out.
- Organized PvP – We require everyone who takes part in our WvW campaigns to have our chosen team communication service (Ventrillo/Mumble we have not currently decided which we shall use.) The only people who must have a microphone are our officers to help with troop movement, and information. Everyone else just must simply listen, no mic needed.
- Guild Website – Our guild website will not only be used for organization, but for our community as a guild as well. We just ask that people stay involved with it, as it is part of the guild activity. If your are afraid of creating accounts for whatever reason this may not be the guild for your, we are a long term guild here to become established, not throw away.
