Am I the only person bugged by the fact that the Ascalon ghosts are all wearing modern clothes, instead of GW1 era clothes? I know it is just a little thing, and that there are valid tech reasons behind it, but it still makes me twitch every time I see one.

I noticed this as well but realized it was probably more effort than it was worth to deal with.

Maybe the fashion style changed before Ascalon fell. In the fractals, the defenders are also wearing that clothing style…

Maybe they’re keeping up with the times. There’s some Ghost Market in Ghost Town where they make Ghost Leather from Ghost Livestock, spin Ghost Cloth out of Ghost Plant Fibers, make Ghost Armor from… Ghost Ore*…

Crap.

I got nothin.

[*Unless they have an economy like Wraith: the Oblivion or the Underworld of Exalted (same thing pretty much), where actual Souls can be forced to assume properties resembling other types of matter, and the economy of the Underworld is built around hammering the peasant classes of dead people into useful objects, in which case that’s pretty depressing, and no wonder all these Dead Ascalonians spend all their time on the surface picking fights with whoever wanders by.]

Well the Foefire didn’t occur during GW1, it occured a short while after. Maybe times changed while we were frozen in a hunk of ice in the hall of monuments (that’s what happened to me anyway)
