Help with dye. Male Human Heavy Primeval
I hear Abyss and Celestial is all the rage in GW2. For everything! Together! So that you end up looking like a zebra! With an under-boob! And a flower in your hair (that clips with everything)!
Seriously, order your dyes by material and choose only from the leather (for the bones/skulls) and metallic ones. Try to match your weapons and/or backpack.

I had Primeval chest/legs/boots on my female sylvari for a long time (I recently got T3 for her and now the Primeval sits in my bags). Of course, I was doing female dyes but I found I really liked a pale blue on the main field with gold on the trim, for a baroque ceiling look, and dark spikes on the boots to seem thornlike. A darker version of the main field, or just a very dark color, served as the under-cloth part. I changed out the blue with green or red for Wintersday Ornament looks, and then settled on gold with brighter gold trim for her consistent look. Not liking the bony accessories, I used the Vigil helm, CM gauntlets, and Banded Pauldrons.
So chest Dapple/Illumination/Taupe, legs the same, and boots Dapple/Illumination/Pitch work super nicely. Change out the Dapple for other hues to suit the mood. I like the steely look you have right now, actually, but here’s how it looks in blue or gold for me:
Thanks for the reply:)
