Hey everyone, just wondering if this is a unique female face. The face belongs to an NPC named Historian Sophie, she can be found at the beer/vinyard looking place in Queensdale.

Anyway I have tried to her reproduce look for my ranger, but can’t seem to get it right.

Does anyone know if its even possible? Or is it just unique to this character?

I was thinking most of the NPC faces could be copied if you just messed with the face editor. I thought the only unique NPC faces were the ones of the main characters of the story.

No NPC face is unique, not even the main lore characters. Except the NPCs that’s supposed to look old.

If what you’re saying is true, then I guess I’ll just ask….

Can anyone reproduce Historian Sophies face, and show me the slider adjustments if possible?

I tried, and I could not recreate her face. I think it’s unique, though I could be wrong — unique meaning a face not available to players in character creation, though there may be other NPCs with this face.

I’ve seen other NPCs with faces like this. Historian Moritz in Eldvin Monestary is one I noticed just yesterday. He’s got nice eyes and eyebrows, very canthan looking.

Thanks for the try; it’s as I thought, yeah her face and even Historian Moritz is probably unique.

I found another NPC that is exactly the same as Historian Sophie, shes in Durmand Hall – Queensdale.

You can make adjustments to the face in the creator…maybe one of the devs went crazy with it, and this is the result?

Won’t be unique anymore if everyone can have them, eh?
But yea, generally agree you should be able to customise your features to every possible variety you see in-game.

i think she is quite unique and i love big eyes.

Here’s my attempt. This was done really quickly, I think with more time you could get it closer.

Just in case it’s unclear that’s the face on the bottom row of the section set. I think the skin colour is pale 2 but I could be wrong (and that’s one of the things I think might need tweaking anyway). Eyes are the lightest shade of blue, but hers might actually be light green or grey, it’s hard to tell from that screenshot.

Where can I find this NPC? I thought it was Divinity’s Reach Guide but she looks little different.

Maybe in Divinity’s reach near the tp. I don’t remember well

all npc faces are supposed to be able to be recreated. you just need to pick the right face for the basic structure, lip colour and eyebrows, you can tweak everything else to match em. Though, time is required for getting things perfect, and I could be wrong.

Some NPCs have unique faces, like the bar tender from the human commoner storyline and Rytlock.

But I think that’s only major storyline NPCs. Most NPCs should be re-creatable with a little time and tweaking.
