I just love him! I think he is super funny and wish there was more of him in the personal story.

Anyone agree?

He’s rich you know, that’s what I can get from all the times I chatted with him. :P
He’s okay, but sometimes comes off too much like Maverick on the Charr side.

I love Lord Faren too. I wish he would feature more in my human’s storyline post Zhaitan. Fingers crossed he’ll show up in the living story at some point.

I remember an NPC in Divinity’s Reach mentioning he was a good official, but retired due to personal reasons. I get the feeling there might have been more to him but it got cut back because you’re the hero. (until Trehearne)

He’s simply comic relief, just not very good at it.

Meh, tbh, i’ve found almost all of the humans to be rather one dimensional, even logan…how long can we keep up the (somewhat) tragic human shtick? Gwen was a tragic heroine in GW, and even then, she had another dimension: her deep hatred and rage for the charr, her refusal to show weakness, and how she felt after the losses of her friends and family throughout the game. Same with Faren = narcissism :/

I do love his hilarity though, he at least has that over logan

Lord Faren is hilarious. I mean… Panache and aplomb. How can you beat that?

And Kasmeer knows it. Have you seen their dialogue in Southsun Cove?
There was one where he talked about his heroic fighting skills, and she mentioned something along the lines of, “Oh, yes. You were Bongo the One-Eyed’s ‘star pupil.’ I remember your parents had to pay extra for the title.”
Faren: “What are you talking about?”
Kasmeer: “Oh, training. I meant training. Your parents had to pay extra for all that training.”
Paraphrased, of course, but still… They’re great.

My characters IC (rp) and myself see him as a total pervert and he thinks he can get some.

I’m sad I missed his part in the Living Story.

I wish he had a dialogue with characters who have him as their childhood friend, though. It’s disappointing to visit him in the home instance and have him say the same standard thing he says to everyone.

“I’m rich, you know.”
