I am having a little trouble making out her features, but I am not quite sure I like the shape of her eyebrows (no offense). That’s just my opinion, though ><

certanly most people IRL doesn’t look like dolls (as the human female) but neighter do they look sooo angry.

You did really well on making a GW2 Barbie, it’s just not really my style.

My Elementalist, only a mere level 50 at the moment but my first character and my favourite one. Just picked up the game again and gave her a makeover.

I so wish I had a better graphics card… sigh… Sorry for crappy pics.

I like how concerned about things she looks. Combined with the hairstyle, she looks like the serious sort of person who’s always worrying about where things are going and how they’re going to happen. Very nice! 8.5/10

Here’s my level 80 ranger. I was going for something of a natural scowl, due to the fact that she doesn’t much like people and I think I managed to pull it off.

She looks noble and like she does the whole society bit but her hair makes her look like a rebel. I like it very much.

Here is my Engi.
She is a commoner and she is a bit of a crazy, suicidal pyromaniac, first in by any means possible- type of person.
As much as she is always on the front lines- she has a secret:
She is only 14 and wears her goggles to hide her true identity

10/10 for not going for the typical model look. She’s got a bit of apathy to her expression, not that you can do much about that in this game without a lucky snapshot of an animation. She looks like a real person.

Here’s my new guardian. He’s an ex-Seraph, dishonorably discharged, with a somewhat lazy outlook on life. I include the character creator for a closeup that shows his eye color, and a /dance animation to get that lovely smile (albeit in the dark, sorry, for dull shot).

8/10, i like the fact that he really seems to know he’s a pretty boy.

Here’s my Warrior

7/10, face looks fine. You need to keep working on that armor though. Try barbaric and maybe a diff color scheme. You have like a bandit’s or rugged man’s face and it just doesnt go with that armor so well imo.

8/10 very nice. looks serious and able to hold her own in battle.

7.5/10 – The hair colour and the outfit together work really well. Although it does look like you’ve taken inspiration from Lara Croft/ Tomb Raider. If it was for the outfit as well it’d be higher.

^Sxalpha: Never been a fan of weird hair colours, but her face alone is nice, albeit sad. I’d say 7/10.

My warrior. Trying to make a face based on real-life is very, very hard, and this wasn’t as successful as I wanted it to be.

I give you a 7.5/10! I think he looks very unique and not too.. hmm.. arrogant.. like a lot of male characters in this game. Nice job

Here’s my attempt at a sad and slightly pouty-face Mesmer

7/10. I think you achieved your pouty look. I am a bit biased towards arrogant Mesmers with updos or coiffed, short hairstyles (I prefer Norn updos for Mesmers, honestly). It is a nice hairstyle, but I find it somewhat bland.

Daciana Lasombra… my necromancer. She is meant to look pale and sort of… demonic/vampire-y/dark-side-y. The gray on her I would much like to change. But I do not want to pay for celestial. She will also have a Final Rest staff in the long run. So if you don’t like her set, take that into account. Also, any suggestions on the dye would be appreciated.

@Lorelei wish you included a more-detailed close-up image of your necromancer’s face. You achieved the pale/vampire-y/demonic-y/dark-side-y effect. She looks all of those.
The dyes are very good as they fit completely with her tattoos and hair.
I give her a 8/10 – as the fact that you included armor influenced me. Take it more like a 8.5/10.
