Guild Wars 2

I noticed one of the hairstyles looks a LOT like Link, from the Legend of Zelda. I decided I want to recreate Link because of it.

For weapons, I imagine something like:
Sword – Ebonhawke Sword (Master Sword)
Shield – Krytan Shield (Closest to Hero’s Shield)
Greatsword – Ebonhawke (Biggoron Sword)
Hammer – Krytan Hammer (Megaton Hammer)
Longbow – Longbow (Hero’s Bow)

But what about armor? That is where I am having problems recreating Link… Any advice which armor to use on a heavy?

Too fem? What do you mean? I tried to base him off TP Link.

great job with the armor. What I meant about the face was that he looks like a manly woman currently. Link looks more boyish I would say. But that is just my perception

I have a guildie who adores Link and has made a heavy named Link Masters. She’s an artist who paints him all the time and from her paintings I think she got his armor pretty well done. Heck if I remember the details, though, as I am not a Zelda player so it’s all sort of hearsay to me.

It would be nice to contact the guildie, or anyone else would be willing to post their advice ^

One suggestion: switch out the Krytan Warhammer for the Aureate Warhammer. The first time I ever saw the Aureate Warhammer, I blurted out “isn’t that the Megaton Hammer from Ocarina of Time?”

Btw that looks awesome…and I didn’t realize so many weapons looked similar or based off his weapons in his games.

So,

I’m very tempted to finally go ahead with this, but just one problem: Link’s hair CLIPS with heavy HoTW chest, which is my favorite armor in the whole game…

Very nice. The closest I have gotten to the master sword is the Ebonhawk one-handed sword…still looking for a good shield though.

also I have some suggestions on the shield try Kryta’s Embrace, as well as the Vigil’s Honor Shield, and the Guild Defender.

I agree, Guild Defender with a guild insignia that comes close to the Hylian crest. Or the Mirror Shield design I guess.
