Which storyline is best?
I played circus and sister so far.
My main plays a noble with a lost sister. Why? Well, I didn’t like the idea that my hero wouldn’t know who his parents are ( of course he knows about his great ancestor from GW 1. And the whole circus didn’t felt serious enough and ot of place (and what kind of noble would join a circus). I mean, either you lost your parents or dead sister …. or regret that you didn’t join a circus?
Don’t get me wrong, I think it is a fun idea and I chose this option for my alt thief, but for my main I wanted to have something serious.
Although some will disagree, I liked the sister storyline. It was interesting, I enjoyed it, the end was a bit awkward and I didn’t regret that I chose it.

Awkward? As in disappointing or anti-climactic? I was thinking about the same, mine is a noble so it makes no sense that she doesn’t know her parents and circus is weird
I chose the circus because my Noble dude had been a Noble since he was born and regretted not spending time not being a Noble. The “circus” description also stated that it was about possibilities not explored.
The circus story is not super serious, but I thought it was pretty entertaining.
Parents line seemed unlikely for a Noble, although you could stretch the RP to fit it in. What, adopted noble kid? Lol.
Well why would it be unlikely? An orphan could have been taken in by rich parents who couldn’t have a baby…the more I think about it all options are nice, but I chose the lost sister one. Seems fitting Hope it will be good hah
I’ve done the permutations: Noble/Sister, Commoner/Circus, and Streets/Parents.
Noble/Sister may have had an anticlimactic ending, but overall it seemed the least disjointed and the best story for my 2 cents. Noble/Sister just blends kind of well and has a lot congruent themes, but I wont give spoilers.
Mine was the commoner that didn’t know his real parents. Wasn’t disappointed with it and it actually influenced what guild I ended up picking.
