There used to be champs and zerg farming. AN did something wrong again.

Well, I played for most of the day on Saturday, full MF buffs and everything. Had 1 rare drop the entire time. I’m convinced that someone else is getting my drops :P

It’s Random-guy-#55! He’s been getting all my drops too! I heard he performed a dark ritual at the mouth of hell involving a Charr, an Asura and a three goats. Since then, he’s been getting a lot of people’s drops!

Let’s get him! I heard that if you tie him up and throw him in the lake you can prove he was getting your drops. If he sinks he is innocent but if he floats he was stealing!

No freaking way! I have at least 1 rare drop for every 2 champs. Only MF buff from NPC, no other MF sources.

No freaking way! I have at least 1 rare drop for every 2 champs. Only MF buff from NPC, no other MF sources.

No one believed me when I asked about it in map chat either. I’m going to try again after work today and will this time not loot any boss chests (since MF doesn’t help with those anyway) to see if those are kicking my DR into high gear for some reason.

At least the coin drops are decent.

Or are you only hitting the boss? Drop your aoe everywhere to maximize profit

I ran the loot train for 2 hours this morning when it first came out, and another hour this evening. Mostly with huge zergs farming Queensdale continuously. Probably killed 80-90 champions all told.

Result: about 4g (total, from every source)
0 lodestones
0 cores
0 exotics
2 rares — total
I did get some amount of T6 mats
All the rest was blue/green/trash, lower-level mats, and coin bags

WTF is my roi so frikkin’ horrible compared to everyone else? Does Anet hate me, or am I just the unluckiest mother in the history of the universe?

Honestly, most of the “OMG I GOT SO MUCH GOLD” stories you hear are from people that just got really lucky with a drop or something. Not an actual representation of what you’ll consistently get in an area.

People were claiming to get 200g/hour by farming Orr champions too, and what they really meant was, “I got a skin/precursor/whatever in my first hour.” not that you actually get 200g/hour on average.

I tried it both ways. First hitting everything for loot bags, then hitting just the boss to see if the loot bags were engaging DR.

BS. guardian staffing the hell out of them with zerker gear on and not even close 5g in that time. 40 mins?

They want to create inflation so the gem prices skyrocket, then when this living story ends you won’t be able to make as much money in so little time anymore but the gem prices will stay high so if you want gems you’ll have to buy them with real money or bust your kitten ingame trying to make gold.
