No Kidding. No Sarcasm. I love this update.

The Opening Ceremony instance was fun and entertaining. It was a great way to get a jump into this Living Story.

The part that I’m loving the most so far, the Crown Pavilion. HOLY LOOT!!!! I spent a few hours with a couple different characters down there yesterday. Exotics were dropping, rares were dropping, gold was being had, achievements were popping left and right. So much fun. My guild (LUST) was enjoying it as well. Guild chat was full of people enjoying this content.

I’ve yet to even try the Queens Gauntlet yet, but I can’t wait to.

I know these forums can be filled with negativity and bug reporting and some of that is merited and needed. I just wanted to show a little love for this new content as I know I’m enjoying it and I see that others are as well.

I’d also like to add that Account Wallet is FAN FREAKING TASTIC!

I completely agree. This event has been really fun. The gauntlet is one of the best additions that I’ve seen.

I actually like both. The boss battles are actually a little difficult. I mean, they are definitely harder than Fire Ele or Maw event…

I quite enjoy it. I’m just super glad to finally have an event that isn’t home to Lion’s Arch. Its a nice change. And the general area is quite pretty. I really haven’t spent much time in DR other then the general exploring in Betas and at launch so I almost forgot how pretty the place is.

The guantlet is fun even though I haven’t bothered to get past tier 2. Working on the gambit achievements can be quite a pain for me. :P

But I really do enjoy the group events down below. Even with the nerf the rewards are well worth the time and effort. Quite fun to see everyone together enjoying themselves in a giant zerg. :P Kind of like the old Orr days (with more dying from people not paying attention, but its not a big issue).

I personally like the bosses, they aren’t too easy or hard. Some aren’t so hard (ie. boom boom), but their general AoE skills always take out quite a few unsuspecting. The first day and the centaur boss was pretty hilarious. :x So much death.

I’m enjoying it so far, I think their content is definitely getting better and better. Starting the event off with combat is always a good thing.

As a farmer, I’m loving this event.

Grouped up with my old Cursed Shore farming group. We haven’t farmed since April I think? Nostalgia.

It’s fun, not sure it’s the best yet though ;-)
Although it’s a lot of fun,
I hoped for more activities..as it stands there is only “the zerg” in the pavilion, the torch run etc,
what I mean is special vendors, special items, food, stuff you see at festivals.
Maybe that’s just me though ;-)

At least we get some actual new combat content, rather than another annoying (to me) minigame. The farming is worth the effort this time.

I must say I am enjoying this one as well. I won’t be doing the gauntlet because that does not appeal to me, but I think Anet hit the right notes here with a bit of something for everyone. I have had a lot of fun in the Crown Pavilion going in with groups to get each event. That has been a surprising amount of fun even with the low framerate (can’t always see everyone but do see the names) and the rewards are pretty nice. LOVE the wallet…think that was one great idea and so handy. Good job, Anet of trying to get us a bit of something for a lot of different play styles.

This has been my most Favorite update so far. Amazing patch. Right up there with the Halloween update.
