Every npc always forgets you when it’s favorable for Anet.

That’s temporary content for you.

I haven’t gone through all the cut scenes, but in the Opening Ceremony they recognised me. I actually smiled during their little chat. I forgot what it was like to have characters that I actually liked in the story.

It’s been a few months and you didn’t really stand out from the millions of other adventurers they’ve met. Also it would be weird for them to recognize new players who they haven’t met.

Rox and Braham recognized me during the instance but not after the instance.

They recognize me, which makes me happy because I like them as characters.

Hey, Faren even recognizes me from the Island Resort. Nice.

I really enjoyed Braham and Rox in this. They are quickly becoming my favourite GW2 team, not just in the Living Story, but in all of the game. Faren is funny as always. Scarlet seems a lot like Faolain.

In the Crown Pavilon, before going to story mission, and even after they STILL don’t recognise us.

So please repair this obvious bug :X

“Hey there. Name’s Braham. I’m here with One Direction – I mean Rox! I’m here with Rox.”

They recognized me just fine. But I did all LS with one Charr only.

I assume you mean F&F instances, and yes, I have completed everything of F&F, but they don’t recognize me….

I did everything in Flame and Frost on my guard, and they do not remember me either.

Except they didnt, Lord von-in-girls-pants is responding the same to my norn thief as he did to my human noble necro and broham does say the hi im broham here with rox despite rox saying glad to see you again? LIKE WTF.

They weren’t clear in their complaint. This interaction is in the Pavilion, not in the opening ceremony. So this is in the open world part that these chat conversations are happening.

Braham and Rox are my friends! They knew me right away!

Since the entire point of the living story is, ostensibly, the story? Yes.

That said, I started the game in the beginning of Dragon Bash so Rox and Braham don’t know me from a hole in the ground. -_-’

They don’t recognize me either and I surely have done all the content there is with them. Maybe they just think all Sylvari look alike.

Yeah Cool Story Bro.

It’s also disappointing that the Queen often uses the audio/text greeting "And you are....?" to my human characters, all of whom met and saved her (where the varying human story paths converge at the end) previously.

But I skipped some of the Brahm/Rox dialogues -- they seemed to recognize me.

As did Anise, calling humans the hero of Shaemoor.

Logan felt the need to introduce himself, though.

edit: I need to do it again with a noble-based character to check Faren. He didn’t have much to say to my poor thief.

Is it possible to do the Opening Ceremony again? I did it on my sylvari but I’d like to do it on my human noble so I can talk to the coolest guy, Faren.

should totally have been an option from the player:

“Yea, we’ve met before”

cue awkward silence from Rox and shifty eyes from Braham.

I wanted to punch Braham in that stupid squished face of his for not remembering me after helping him retake his homestead. Forgot to even talk to the buggy eyed one so I don’t know if she hakitten esia as well. Bad continuity is bad…
