I’m hoping for a peaceful event where we don’t have to kill everything. Variety is the name of the game more variety we get the better the game will be.

Now, while on the topic Anyone else wanna make a prediction for the event?

There will be an achievement for finding all hot air balloons in Tyria.
One of them will be somewhere in WvW. I’m calling it.

My bet is on an assassination attempt on the queen (not a success of course, she’s necessary for the story) hope I’m wrong but I’m calling it.

I’ll predict I will have a much clearer bank tab with all the currency in it’s own storage.
I also predict that the champions will finally be worth killing.
And Finally I predict that I will have fun, even if I don’t partake of all the events.

I bet we have to run up to 50+ event specific objects and press F for an achievement.

Well, 1 speedrun per day, then p2, then AC, and so on :P

Queen Jennah will be personally present on the opening of that Arena.
after some matches of gladiators the queens tribune will collapse….
in the last moment something will teleport-out the queen (and only queen) saving her from death in the remains of old great collapse.
assisting Shining Blade, would have not such “luck” and will die…
assisting WatchKnight’s would just fell down there and will notice no problem except “where-is-the-queen” and “how-to-go-back-upthere”

If they make a wvw balloon it’d be nice to put it somewhere in eb that’s somewhat out in the open as opposed to a jump puzzle. At least then you could just blitz it at any time with a low lvl stealth character as opposed to a god awful jump puzzle(done it more then i’d like within the last few months).

And if someone where to remove these Sedition Inhibitors?

The inquest or the Pirates or whoever will reprogram the Metropolis robots ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Metropolis_ ) to attack the Queen and it will become our job to save everyone, so that someone else (Kiel and or Evon – whoever wins the election) can take the credit.

A kidnapping of the queen? Boring and unimaginative to the point that the writers should be forced to have a tequila session each morning.
An uprising by the people, demanding a governmental system based on the votes of the population rather than an archaic system where the ability to rule and lead a nation is purely dependent on your patents? Inspired!

You know I like part of this idea.

The queen invites you and your party to watch the gladiatorial matches, her viewing platform collapses and falls down into the great collapse. When you come to, the queen is fine, along with Logan, Countess Anise, and your party. But you’re stuck at the bottom of the great collapse and have to find a way out. You start going through some tunnels that are conveniently located at the bottom to find they have been carved by destroyers that have been tunneling under divinity’s reach for some reason. You fight your way out of the destroyer filled tunnels and to an opening to the surface and eventually make it back to the party.

I doubt that will happen but your comment made my mind jump to something like that.

Finding the balloon, yeah probably, but not a bad thing. Some of the people already forgot that there are greatplaces like Iron marches, fireheart rise..

I’d love that. Why do pirates have election in Tyria but the humans just mindlessly worship the monarchy? Something is wrong with your leaders when the pirates are more democratic than you are.

Pirates have always been in stories and reality the purest form of democracy, voting on decisions, the Captain of the ship, and so forth, idk why people are so shocked by this
